When I started out as a blogger in October 2013, I had no inkling that my site – http://www.hookedoninspiration.org – would become as successful as it is today. After 10 years of nearly consistent blogging, I can confidently state that I have become a prolific blog writer and continue being so. Since the conception of this blog site, it has been devoted to one particular tagline – “A Better Tomorrow; A Better Future and a Better World.” What better way is there to influence the world positively than to teach us all in becoming better people, so that we can all collectively benefit from a better future and consequently, live in a better world? I feel very strongly about this fact because there is really no sense at all, in all of us grumbling endlessly about what horrific times we are experiencing, day-in and day-out – it’s like cause greeted with inaction.

We can improve our circumstances by making conscious decisions and right choices – our lives revolve around these choices and decisions – to have the courage to do what is Right, in the face of overwhelming circumstances. To be brave enough to stand alone and steadfast in these self-made choices and not to get swayed by societal pressures – it takes a conscious effort and consistent discipline to follow through with these dictums of life. The best way to understand how one can become a better person, is to understand the innermost workings of the human mind and by delving deep into all aspects of human attitudes, attributes and behaviour. Why do we behave in the way that we do? Is there any place for improvement? Definitely! Always aspire to be the very best version of yourself. Be a model for other people to respect and follow. If we inhibit ourselves by always wondering what will be society’s opinion of us, we will never reach our full potential. If we believe that something is Right, we should have the perseverence to see it through till the bitter end – if it ever comes to that.

There are currently 175 blog posts published by this author on her site – each post has a ‘Public’ viewership from interested readers from all over the globe – this site spans countries and continents. As of today, 31st December 2023, it is 10 years and 2 months since I started blogging. While most of the reader traffic is facilitated by WordPress and Facebook, I also have worldwide readers from LinkedIn, Twitter, Google and other online search engines. This search engine optimisation is something that I undertake myself by sharing my posts on various sites because I need the MAXIMUM VISIBILITY POSSIBLE for this site – read each blog and you will soon understand why.

I hope and pray that ‘Hooked on Inspiration’s Blog’ always remains ‘High-Flying, Inspired!” In the meanwhile, this author pledges to continue ‘to aspire to inspire.‘
