The Truth Will Always Out. No matter what. No matter how long it takes to do so.

There are many strings of ever-changing lies, woven carelessly together, and then there is ONLY ONE outstanding element – THE TRUTH. The latter can be one’s best friend or a formidable enemy – use it wisely. Use The Truth to expose a wrong; use it to stand up for what is right; use it to gain, at least some modicum of justice, in a predominantly unfair world.

Let us take a moment to imagine a mighty torrent of water that is unequivocally trapped and unable to flow freely, as it normally should. Never underestimate the might, sheer force and power of trapped water- it is like an invisible enemy seeping, slowly but surely, through miniscule cracks and tiny crannies till it manages to erode into the most inflexible rock surfaces, including the robust, hard-as-stone rocky surfaces of sheer mountains; it has managed, over the centuries, to abrade these surfaces, slowly but thoroughly, until it has found a way to emerge, once again, unhindered. The mighty force of water cannot be stopped. It emerges always – one way or another.

Water is meant to flow freely – it has the absolute capacity to corrode into the hardest and most unyielding iron and stone – it makes iron rust and weakens its hold significantly. Water will not be stopped by anyone, or anything. Its immense force will always hold sway.

Water is a liquid that can never remain stationary. Its very form and nature signifies movement. When water gets trapped tightly behind a rock-solid, stone wall, it never stops moving and shifting – it writhes in a relentless dance of agony till it starts very gradually, over a long period of time, seeping through minute nooks and crannies of the rock surface, in its unending quest for an escape route. This slow seepage of water gradually wears down and erodes the seemingly impenetrable barrier of stone till it sees the light of day. The water ultimately pours out forcefully in huge, powerful, sweeping torrents – like the catastrophic burst in a dam of water. It is the same with the Truth. There is no difference whatsoever.

Water is meant to be free-flowing – without the blockage provided heedlessly by man-made reclaimed land, overhead sea-link bridges and underwater tunnels. Some day, our Earth will have to pay a heavy price for such high-handedness and arrogance. Water will forcefully gush out and cause devastating floods before it reclaims what was always hers. Mother Nature is not to be spited or trifled with. When that happens – as it already has – it will spell the doom and death knell of humanity, as a whole.

The Truth is similar to the sheer power and force of Water. It cannot be stopped forever- “the truth will always out.” No amount of lies and untruths can stop it from emerging victorious and from prevailing. Honesty and truthfulness are a force to be reckoned with, in no small way. It takes courage and strength of character to speak the truth – it is not meant for weak-minded cowards.

There are various layers to Lies and Deceit – ‘white lies’ – that we all say at times, are harmless – whatever reason has provoked saying them. Then, there are the ‘half-truths’- it is a form of the truth embellished with many lies – so much so that the truth gets lost somewhere along the way. These half-truths can cause a lot of undue stress and unnecessary problems to its victims. Lastly, there is the endless stream of lies – one lie needed to cover up another and this is the most dangerous form of lying. This form of lying and deception is highly destructive and harmful.

Lies paint a black, tainted picture of the person or situation but the Truth is liberating – it paints a picture that is as clear as day. It banishes all doubt and uncertainty, in one clear swoop. The Truth clears the air. The Truth never paints a picture with varying shades of grey; when the truth is spoken it is always a clear, black and white scenario. The Truth goes either the whole way or no way. There are no half-measures about the Truth. It is not a half-hearted venture, by any means.

Sometimes, the Truth can be so potent that it is like opening a Pandora’s box of many secrets and a devious hidden, unimaginable deception. In this sense, such an exposure of potent truth can become a “POINT OF NO RETURN.” There can be no stopping or turning back from it – it is the type of devastating truth that will have severe repercussions. Use it wisely and only when absolutely necessary.

It does not matter what other people believe – the truth will not change. LIES ARE EVER-CHANGING LIKE A CHAMELEON TO FIT THE SITUATION; THE TRUTH IS A CONSTANT, STABLE FACTOR AND REMAINS UNCHANGEABLE AT ALL TIMES, REGARDLESS OF THE SITUATION.

No matter how often the story is repeated, if it is the truth, it will not change because one has “lived it” and experienced it. WHETHER OTHER PEOPLE CHOOSE TO BELIEVE IT OR NOT, THE TRUTH WILL NOT CHANGE – NO MATTER HOW MANY DECADES PASS BY. THE TRUTH WILL OUT – ULTIMATELY.

People who stand up – albeit alone – for what they believe is right and true, are not bothered whether they win a popularity contest or not. They may have only a couple of good friends but those friends will be the right ones. Such people command a certain respect – people may not always like them but they do tend to have a hidden respect for them.

Karma will always have the Last Laugh. You had better believe it. It may take several years for the true story to emerge, but come out, it will. Sooner or later, the truth will show its face. Make no mistake about that.

THE TRUTH IS MIGHT. The Truth is about always being in the right. Believe it.

The Truth is liberating – it will set you free, like nothing else will. It heals one’s soul. The Truth frees one’s spirit from the chains that have kept it bogged down forever in the deep mire of lies. It restores peace of mind – more often than not.
