Vices form a very large part of Satan’s Realm – it is true. However, you must also understand that the Temptation of Vices are used as Tests and Trials that form part of The Larger Plan of The Supreme Being so that the world can learn to distinguish between the Warmth of Goodness from the Misery and Sorrow of Malevolence. God, in His Infinite Wisdom, planned Life to pan out as such but sadly the existence of Evil in the world today far outweighs any existence of benevolence. THIS AUTHOR IS HERE TO CHANGE THE IMBALANCE OF THIS EQUATION. EACH AND EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU WILL HELP ME TO SPREAD THE WORD OF THE LORD, FAR AND WIDE ON THIS PLANET, SO THAT THE RULE OF BENEVOLENCE ONCE AGAIN HOLDS SWAY OVER OUR EARTH.

 

 

For each virtue, there is vice. So if we take the virtue of LOVE, the vices of hatred, disdain, contempt, bitterness, disgust, malice, meanness, and vengeance were created. Likewise, for the virtue of HONESTY, the vices of dishonesty, falsehood and lies,

Vices were created to help the world understand the true worth of the goodness of a virtue. It is akin to saying that we would never know what “a good day” is till we have experienced the stress and worry of a day fraught with troubles, obstacles and mishaps. You cannot be expected to comprehend the existence of benevolence till you’ve experienced the worst of malevolence in the world. The Test facing you each day is what you CONSCIOUSLY CHOOSE as being part of your major priorities in Life. 

As per the ancient Native American Cherokee legend of “The Two Wolves” – one good and the other evil, depends to a very large extent on which of the two wolves a person chooses to, “feed,” pander to and pamper. In this way, if a person chooses to follow, “the straight and narrow path” of righteousness and benevolence, he will automatically nurture the spirit of “the good wolf” within him till it reaches a point of high maturity. If, on the contrary, people choose to enhance the spirit of “the evil wolf”, by fuelling the spread of wickedness and malevolence, it automatically follows that such persons will be walking down the road of sin, guilt and regret for the rest of their mortal lives. It is always easier to pander to the whims and fancies of the Evil Wolf because he represents sins that do not require much effort or time to perform. It goes to the extent that we have often heard that murderers, who have killed once, find it easier to overcome their unease, guilt, shame and anxiety once they have killed again and yet again. Such psychopaths might be inclined to become vicious and abominable serial killers because the very “thrill” and inherent “high” of a kill – as powerful as a sexual orgasm – is hard to compare to anything more mundane, ordinary and “normal”. In this way, sins are freely perpetrated. In so doing, for each sin committed, these sinners lose some or all of their scruples and anything else that is akin to honesty and compassion in the process. Be very, very sure of this irrefutable fact – the DELIBERATE CHOICE to lead a sinful life is The Road leading to Hell.

 

 

The reason tens of multitudes of people in the world today lead sinful lives is because the practice and careful cultivation of any virtue takes time, some effort, much discipline and strength of character to see such behavior through. A lot of people believe in benevolence & even hope and pray that it will hold sway in the world some fine day. The reason such a happy occurrence has not become our reality is due to the fact that the majority of the people in the world today lack the courage of their convictions – they lack the courage to make their dreams and hopes a reality. Virtuous people tend to fear criticism and ostracism from society because they ostensibly “stand out” as being unique and different from the rest of the world. Such a benevolent-minded person is likely to “stick out in a crowd like a sore thumb;” they feel alienated and isolated from their own fellow-beings because they will always be like, “a fish out of water” – because they are high-thinking, spiritual-minded people with a good measure of foresight.

 

 

The tragedy of our times is that the world does not think the same way – in fact, they hardly ever try to be better people! Weak-minded people bend easily to “peer pressure” rather than doing what is ostensibly right and honest. Think about such dishonest behavior carefully – do you think it is right to be other than what you truly are, just to please the whims and fancies of society? Just think about it – hopefully, you’ll have the courage and strength to do what is right – WHAT IS RIGHT BY YOUR STANDARDS – NOT BY THE STANDARDS OF THE WORLD.

 

 

BENEVOLENT PEOPLE CAN AND WILL “STAND UP” FOR WHAT THEY STRONGLY BELIEVE TO BE “RIGHT.” THE COURAGE OF THEIR CONVICTIONS MAKES THEM FEARLESS. THE QUALITY OF THEIR COURAGE IS SO IMMENSE THAT THEY ARE WILLING TO “STAND ALONE” AMONG TENS OF MILLIONS IN THE WORLD FOR WHAT THEY CONSIDER AS BEING RIGHT AND TRUE.

 

 

SUCH PERSONS MAY BE REFERRED TO – CONTEMPTUOUSLY – AS BEING “A MISS GOODY-TWO SHOES” BUT THESE SAME PEOPLE WILL SECRETLY RESPECT THEM – HOWEVER GRUDGINGLY – FOR THEIR MANY STERLING QUALITIES WHICH THEY LACK. HIGH-MINDED PEOPLE TEND TO REMAIN LONERS ALL THEIR LIVES BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT HERE TO PLEASE THE WORLD – THEY WOULD RATHER NOT COMPROMISE ON THEIR PRINCIPLES TO GAIN A FALSE SENSE OF POPULARITY.

 

 

 

Honesty is an expression and an act of truthfulness and sincerity – even though this truthful act could very well spell your doom and be highly detrimental and even harmful to you and your family. Honesty and truthfulness are not be confused with rudeness and the fact of being outspoken, hurtful, spiteful and cruel. Hone your honesty so that its expression is always colored with politeness, kindness, respect and consideration for the feelings of others.

 

 

Honesty ought to be considered as one of the foremost virtues in worth and importance but is never considered as being such – that is, in itself, the true tragedy of our times. I cannot even begin to express to you all the immense worth of leading an honest and scrupulous life. Honesty lends a certain halo of goodness and benevolence on the person who chooses to practice it. Honesty makes such persons “beautiful” in the eyes of the world; honesty lends an intense aura of dignity and poise on such people. The scrupulous practice of honesty makes such people honorable and in so doing, they gain the high esteem and respect of the world at large. Benevolent people can and do make other people look and feel beautiful themselves – it is simply a reflection of their benevolence and goodness on others around them.

 

 

Supposing we were to describe The Road of Life as a Number-Line punctuated by various milestones and chapters that mark each stage of growth in a person’s Life. Life starts with the milestone of infancy; infancy leads to the chapter of childhood; childhood leads to adolescence and the onset of puberty, adolescence leads to adulthood; adulthood leads to the onset of middle age, precipitating towards old age and one’s inevitable death.

 

 

The unparalleled truth is this – Honesty needs to be taught scrupulously the moment an infant enters the phase of childhood and begins to speak childish words and as soon as children become capable of understanding the essence of conversation that they hear from their parents and other adults. You might give a lot of, “lip-service” to the importance of the practice of honesty, but if this same child sees his/her parents practicing dishonesty, such children will take such dishonest attributes, attitudes and behavior as being acceptable. They will learn to become dishonest themselves. PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH – LET THIS SLOGAN BE YOUR ETERNAL AND EVERGREEN MOTTO IN LIFE.

 

 

The practice of dishonesty leads to wicked thoughts, callous, mean and nasty words and atrocious deeds. Teach your children well when they are as, “malleable as clay” and when their lives are akin to a, “sheet of blank paper” – give them a legacy of a strong and good breeding so that they may pass this legacy of goodness automatically to the next generation. It is in this way that The Circle of Life ought to move eternally but rarely does – DON’T YOU THINK THAT IT IS “HIGH TIME” THAT YOU STARTED DOING SOMETHING TO CHANGE THE CURRENT IGNOBLE COURSE OF EVENTS?
