The Strongest among us are not those who have never known the dark despair of failure and who have never had to endure countless episodes of humiliation. These people are the ones who actively choose to learn from their mistakes – they listen well; abide more and try fervently never to repeat the same mistakes again. They are the ones who stand up – literally and figuratively – to withstand and fight yet another day, despite the many falls that they inevitably face. Such folk weep silent tears at their failures – yet few people see or understand these tears.

Each time that you fail and feel tempted to give up, remember to always look back and see how far you have already come. Wouldn’t it be a waste of your time, energy, emotions, diligence and true effort to give up at such a point in time?

So rise up to life’s challenges – you have been blessed to live another day. See it through with courage, forbearance and a smile. Make the best of a bad situation. Nobody has been promised that the Road of Life will be an easy path to traverse. Remember these words of wisdom well – they will see you through at your darkest moments of your disappointment and despair.

It’s not for nothing that Charles Darwin stated that Survival is for the Fittest. He had thought rightly of this philosophy several aeons ago.

The Road of Life is far from easy – it is fought with various difficulties and challenges; it’s full of obstacles and pitfalls. However, try never to forget – “If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.”
